For decades the executive health check meant one thing. A once-a-year medical, a firm handshake, and a clean bill of health until the same time next year. That model is being retired, and it deserves to be. The new executive health check runs continuously and is built around healthspan, the years you live in good health, rather than a single annual snapshot. For the individual that means catching risk far earlier. For the business, it means protecting the people the organisation actually runs on.
An executive health check is a preventative assessment built for people who would rather stay ahead of risk than react to it. The traditional version bundled a physical exam, a basic blood test and maybe a stress ECG into one convenient day. The modern version keeps the convenience and changes the depth: advanced blood biomarkers, genomics, body composition and continuous wearable data, interpreted by a doctor and turned into an ongoing plan rather than a filed report. The shift is from a moment to a system.
The once-a-year medical was designed for a different era of medicine, and it has three structural problems.
A program like the HodieLabs membership opens with a Health Blueprint: a one-off baseline of 40+ biomarkers, a full records review and a doctor consult. From there it moves into continuous tracking and scheduled retesting.
Executives, founders, partners and high performers whose decisions and momentum depend on how they feel at 3pm on a bad week, and who would rather spend a little on prevention now than manage a preventable condition for thirty years. Increasingly it is also for the organisations around them, which have worked out that a leader's health is a form of business continuity. If you want that argument in board language, we set it out in the business case for executive health.
Start with a baseline. Find out where you or your leadership team actually stand, then build the program around those results rather than around a template. Done properly, executive health stops being an annual tick-box and starts being something you can measure a return on.

A modern executive health check includes comprehensive blood biomarkers, DNA and genomic testing, DEXA body composition scanning, wearable data integration, and face-to-face doctor consultations, followed by a personalised plan that is retested over time rather than a one-off report.
Costs range from a few hundred dollars for entry-level biomarker programs to several thousand for premium programs that include imaging. HodieLabs starts with a one-off Health Blueprint at $349, with annual memberships from $299 to $2,499.
The return comes chiefly from reduced presenteeism (better focus, energy and productivity at work), reduced absenteeism (fewer sick days), and stronger retention of senior talent. Because leaders concentrate decision-making, protecting their health protects business continuity and profitability.
Most proactive executive health testing is not covered by Medicare, which funds diagnostics when there is a clinical indication. Some individual tests ordered by your GP may attract a rebate.
Most modern programs use annual or twice-yearly comprehensive testing with continuous wearable tracking in between, personalised to each individual's risk profile and goals.
Yes. HodieLabs offers group onboarding, in-person testing at the Melbourne clinic and at-home collection, with each executive starting on a personalised Health Blueprint.
