The HodieLabs Evidence-Based Clinical Library optimal range is Male: 60–110; Female: 45–90 µmol/L, based on KDIGO 2024 CKD guidelines; serum creatinine reference 60–110 umol/L (male) / 45–90 umol/L (female), age and muscle-mass dependent.

Annual testing is recommended for most adults as part of a comprehensive preventative panel; more often if a result is being actively managed.
